Agritechnology are experts in the final stage of industrial microbiology, ie the engineering scale-up of the microbiological process to commercial production capacity. Scale-up can be technically complex requiring an understanding of heat, mass and gas transfer at a commercial scale. It also requires an understanding of the physical limitations of the microorganisms involved.
Our focus is on scalability and we are confident we can achieve on the tonne scale what we can achieve on the gram scale.
Agritechnology personnel combine scientific and technical expertise with their astute commercial focus. They understand the economic factors and key critical parameters for bioprocess scale-up.
